Tierra dishes revolve around a star seasonal, local ingredient, the other elements then fully compliment to provide a dish with a great depth of flavour, colour and texture. All our dishes are original and unique. We do not cut any corners, all elements of our menus are produced on site; bread is made daily alongside pastry, pasta, ice cream etc.

Tierra Kitchen celebrates an A1 location in the heart of Lyme Regis cultural quarter, alongside Town Mill Bakery and the Old Mill. The restaurant has a warm, natural, modern feel inside, while outside there is a sunny streamside terrace. It is comfortable, relaxed and unassuming with friendly and efficient service.

Brunch/lunch means a selection of Mediterranean classics such as our unique take on mezze, tagine, tart tatin alongside our a la carte menu.

Dinner means a weekly changing menu, original dishes with twists on classics, with a Spanish, French and North African influence. These are complemented by a carefully chosen wine list.  

Our first cookbook has gone a storm in 2015, we also have a wide selection of vegetarian recipes.

Vegan and Gluten free

Vegan and gluten free cookbook coming in 2018. We are currently working on a new range of vegan and gluten free recipes for our “Naked Tierra” cookbook. Many of the new recipes will appear on our menus, we also have a new rapidly expanding vegan recipe section on this site.

As always the ideas will be seasonal and organic where possible, with a strong leaning towards Lyme Regis and Dorset produce.

Check out future vegan staple recipes such as vegan pumpkin and sage sausages, Brazil nut burgers, vegan mayonnaise, alongside vegan tiramisu with Italian merengue, sticky toffee plum and ginger pudding.

Homemade gluten free bread is now always available at the restaurant, we are working on gluten free pastries, pastas, flatbread and gluten free chocolate Sponges!
